Every year, the Kinnear Classic engages exciting people from
throughout the community, local and not-so-local celebrities to
add a slightly different twist to the day’s activities. Their
volunteer support helps make this day a continued success.
This year, we are very thankful to have the following special
guests join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the
Classic.

Craig Conroy
In February 2011, Craig retired from the National Hockey
League following a 17 year playing career. He has been
appointed Special Assistant to the General Manager.

Don Felder
World renowned musician, Don was one of the five members
and former lead guitarist of the rock group the Eagles
for 27 years. |

Grant S.
Fuhr
Former Canadian ice hockey goaltender in the National
Hockey League, currently the goaltending coach for the
Phoenix Coyotes. |

Wayne
Player
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Wayne grew up
traveling the world with his father, professional
golfer, Gary Player. |

Peter Quinn
A Canadian professional golfer and former professional
ice hockey player, Quinn played 14 seasons in the NHL. |

Sherry
Born in Kilmarnock, Gordon lives in Helensburgh and has
the distinguished record of being the tallest man ever
to play in the US Masters. |

Michael “Mikey” Vernon
A retired professional ice hockey player who, in his 21
year career, won two Stanley Cups and the Conn Smythe
Trophy. |

Lisa “Longball Vlooswyk
Lisa resides in her birthplace, Calgary, Alberta. Among
her many accomplishments, she is the reigning six time
Canadian Long Drive Champion. |
